The price is calculated based on ongoing analysis of transactions across various markets, so the benchmark is always up-to-date. You can even see the price without uploading: just go to Trade and open the "Inventory" section.    You can then exchange your gifts for any other within the service-quickly and without any extra steps. There are no separate fees: everything is already included in the exchange price, and a standard fee of 25 stars applies for gift withdrawal.
